To obtain a neutral chao, all you have to do is pet it equally with both good and dark characters when its a baby.

To just get a normal neutral chao just pet it with shadow and sonic equally, it wont look any different when it evolves. To get a cooler neutral chao, while making it nuetral, give it a whole bunch of ether yellow, green, red, or purple chao drives to make it what kind you want. Personaly i think the nuetral power type looks the coolest.

You can get theses chao by doing the following:

NEUTRAL NORMAL CHAO: Hatch a baby chao from a normal egg and before it evolves don't give it any chao drives, but pet it with shadow and sonic,(you really don't have to pet it it just makes it evolve quicker if you do).

NEUTRAL RUN CHAO: Before it evolves give it alot of green chao drives and pet it with both shadow and sonic.

NEUTRAL FLY CHAO: Before it evolves give it alot of purple chao drives and pet it with both shadow and sonic.

NEUTRAL POWER CHAO: Before it evovles give it alot of red chao drives and pet it with both shadow and sonic.

NEUTRAL SWIM CHAO: Before it evolves give it alot of yellow chao drives and pet it with both shaodow and sonic.

Chao are the coolest thing to hit sonic, you can do over 500 things with them. I'm emailing sonicteam and giving ideas about a full chao game!
